Orthodontic/Dental Insurance
The 2 biggest issues or questions patients have with insurance are:
1) Can I utilize my insurance benefits?

We will gladly work with any dental insurance and fill out all of the appropriate paperwork for you. You are still able to fully utilize your benefits, they just go to you instead of us. It's that simple!


Financing
Payments can be made by cash, check, Visa or Mastercard. We have a variety of financing options in order to help our patients, and automatic drafting of checking or credit card accounts for added convenience.

Flexible payment plans are available, including options with 0% interest, with no down payment and with monthly payments over an extended period of time, sometimes even after treatment is finished. This financing can be obtained in a matter of minutes via the Internet, making the arrangements for handling your obligations extremely convenient.

We also have a family plan provided to families with more than one person in treatment.


Technology
Our office is new and state-of-the-art, complete with computer imaging for proposed treatment plans (software that helps patients see what treatment may need to be done right from the start). Dr. Altherr and his staff invest heavily in continuing education and the latest technological advancements in orthodontics to achieve 100% patient satisfaction. All of our instruments are sterilized according to guidelines set forth by NCDENR. Monitoring of this process is performed through the UNC Oral Microbiology Laboratory.

For our younger patients and their friends, we have a Sony Playstation 2 system. Here are just some of our games, which include the most recent and popular:
